Chiefs Confirm Alleged Abuse Claims Involving Player the Athlete

The NFL franchise released a comment on Wednesday evening stating they are aware of claims of abuse circulated in online accounts by a ex-partner of player Rashee Rice and had been in contact with the league office.

The team omitted the name of the player specifically in their statement and stated they would have “no further comment at this time”.

Jones did say the person involved was the parent of her kids, and it is known she has kids with the football player, whom the Chiefs selected in the second round.

On the field, he concluded the year with 53 receptions for 571 yards and five TDs as the Chiefs went 6-11 and failed to qualify for the postseason for the first occasion in a decade.
